The diameter of standard cylindrical permanent magnetic rods is 25mm (1 inch), and China Rare Earth Magnet Limited can produce customized length according to customers’ requirement. Using different grade of NdFeB magnets can produce different magnetic rods with different magnetic field. The maximum magnetic surface field of D25mm magnetic rods is 12000Gauss. For example, our company once produced two types magnetic rods, the length is 400mm (contained 15pcs N52 NdFeB magnets in the rod) and 200mm (contained 7pcs N52 NdFeB magnets in the rod). Both of their magnetic surface fields reach 12000Gauss. We can customize the specifications and patterns according to requirements and working environment of our customers.

 
Application
Magnetic rods are mainly used to filter iron in raw material. They can effectively absorb and remove iron impurities and other metal particles form loose or flowing materials. Currently, magnetic rods are widely used in chemical industry, food, waste recycling, rubber, pharmaceutical, environmental protection, pigment and many other fields.
 
Working Principle
Magnetic rods are composed of high quality stainless steel tube and rare earth neodymium permanent magnets. Some will have plastic handle because of the work environment, which will make magnetic rods much easier to handle. And the magnetic assembly can also be combined on a fixed frame to form a magnetic filter. When iron-containing material passes through, it will be attracted by the magnetic rods, and the iron-containing is completely attached to the magnetic rods, so as to protect the equipment and products.
 
Characteristics
Magnetic rods have no energy consumption and no pollution. We use high-performance neodymium magnets as magnetic source, which have strong magnetic force, will effectively remove iron material.
