We have a requirement of N35SH D8X5 permanent magnet. Our requirement is around 50000Nos / MONTH. We request you to please quote for the 2 attached drawings for CIF Nava sheva mumbai. Further we have a query regarding the assembly of the neodymium magnet, wherein the magnet is getting insert molded into a plastic plug, (photo attached). Our question is that during injection molding the temperature of the plastic mold is 250 degree Celsius, so when the magnet is inserted, will it affect the magnetic properties?

You know the highest working temperature of N35SH is 150°C. If the injection molding temperature is 250°C, it will definitely affect the magnetic properties. The neodymium permanent magnets will loss magnetic power in such a high temperature. If you have high demanding on the working temperature of the magnets, we suggest SmCo magnets. SmCo magnets are also called high temperature magnets. The highest working temperature of SmCo magnets is 250-300°C. Besides, please provide completed drawings which will show the details of the magnets.

My magnet working temperature is not more than 150°C, we would like to know if during molding the magnet is exposed to high temperature for even a fraction of section, will it affect? What are the types of precautions we can take during molding the magnet in a plastic piece? Further we have already provided you with the magnet drawings, do you think they will be suitable? If yes please quote for the same.

Injection molding of plastic piece takes about 30-40 seconds, and the neodymium magnet would be insert molded during that time on the top hollow portion as shown in the figure in attachment.
