N55 Neodymium Magnet 20160119
N55 NdFeB Magnet Developed in China
China's high performance neodymium magnet materials research and development has achieved triumphant success by the development super N55 NdFeB, the magnetic energy product (BH) max of which is up to 56MGOe. This is so far the highest reported development level of sintered neodymium rare earth magnet, marking China’s significant step forward from R&D of high performance sintered NdFeB permanent magnet materials to the work of theoretical maximum magnetic energy product (64MGOe).
China’s new launched neodymium iron boron magnets boast remanence up to 1.522T (15.22 kgs), the maximum magnetic energy product (BH) max up to 56MGOe (446KJ/m3), and coercivity up to 9.95KOe (792KA/m), which exceeded the highest R&D level of world’s lad in 2000.
Some manufacturers in China started production in 2002, and occupied a leading position in domestic R&D domain of high performance sintered neodymium rare earth magnets relying on the world leading production and research equipments and independent intellectual property rights. With abundant experience of high-quality neodymium magnets production, the N53, 50H, 38EH, 35AH, and other high performance permanent magnets mass produced on China have reached the same quality standard with Japanese and European magnetic products, and are now widely recognized by customers with a high reputation in the market.
According to a R & D personnel, the development of N55 products should be attributed to several aspects including reduction of the impurities in production like oxygen, improvement of particle size distribution, raise of preferred orientation degree and density, and the optimization of sintering techniques. China will intensify its efforts to achieve the industrialization of permanent magnets as soon as possible, and to enter the world's highest record at the laboratory level.
