Some customers request that magnets should be paint red on N pole and blue on S pole. Some buy alnico pot magnets and alnico magnetic assembly with steel, brass or other metal parts. Alnico magnets have strong resistance to corrosion, as same as SmCo magnets, don’t need coating.

Alnico magnet is the earliest developed permanent magnet material. According to different processing techniques, alnico magnets can be specified into sintered and cast. We usually customize it in disc, block, bar, ring, etc. The highest working temperature can reach 550°C.

Performance advantage of alnico magnets is high residual magnetism and low temperature coefficient. But it has low coercive force, so they are easily being magnetized, but also easily demagnetized. Some alnico products will demagnetize when they touch other permanent magnets like neodymium iron boron (NdFeB magnets). In order to avoid such problems, some clients require individual package for alnico materials.

Some customers once ask for alnico rod magnets, for example, D10x200mm Alnico5 or D21x120mm Alnico8 magnets which are within our production range.
