Cast alnico VS Sintered alnico
According to different production process, alnico magnets can be divided into sintered and cast. Compared with sintered magnets, cast alnico magnets have following advantages.
1. Cast alnico can be processed into different sizes and shape, while sintered alnico magnets are limited to small sizes.
2. Cast alnico magnet is slightly better than sintered alnico magnet in magnetic performance.
3. Cast alnico has the lowest reversible temperature coefficient.
Cast alnico VS FeCrCo
FeCrCo permanent magnet alloy has almost equivalent magnetic performance as cast Alnico 5 permanent magnet. FeCrCo can be processed by mechanical processing of drilling, milling, planning, grinding, stamping and other owing to its good machining property. FeCrCo can be made into small, thin, and various complex shape components.
Like cast alnico magnet, FeCrCo is superior in temperature stability and corrosion resistance.
The highest working temperature of FeCrCo is about 400℃, not as high as that of cast alnico of 550℃.
