Halbach Dipole Ring 20171121
Neodymium Halbach Magnet:
We are looking to fabricate 4 Halbach dipole rings.
Two of them are identical to each other (Ring1) and the other two are also identical to each other (Ring2).
The inner and outer diameters are respectively ***mm and ***mm all 4 of them. The thickness for the first two is ***mm, while for the other two is ***mm. We wish to make them by assembling/guying 12 cylindrical sectors together. We can provide the four carters inside which you must glue the rings for safety, or give you the plans to make them as well depending on the cost and convenience. The material for the permanent magnets needs to be N48H neodymium magnets, and we are looking for a tolerance of +/-2% or better in remanence, and +/-2 degrees in magnetization orientation from the ideal orientation. I attach a diagram for these orientations but I am sure you know very well what we are looking for.
Coating of the magnets is obsolete, and they will be operating at room temperature. Let me know if this is within your capabilities and if you need any additional information to start making a quotation for these four rings (exported to Europe).

But it is possible that you purchase small arc magnets from us and piece them into the Halbach array you need when you received them?
The glued rings may very easily break during transportation.
Using Neodymium Arc Magnets to Assemble a Halbach Ring:
The smallest segments are the cylindrical sectors. I sent you the plans for them. Can you produce them?
Indeed we will need to glue together these sectors and glue the ring inside an aluminum belt. Do you think you can do this?
