Custom Neodymium Permanent Magnet According to Clients’ Design
Client of Neodymium Permanent Magnets for Removing Metal Chips:
We are looking to make this out of a neodymium magnet with this design. We need a magnet to remove 2 to 5 micron metal chips. What permanent magnet would work? If you can't make it in the stand pipe shape we would need a magnet with a 27mm opening with a 75mm OD and about 1/4" to 1/2" thick. Like I said I need a very good magnet to remove the little metal chips.
Client of N52 Slave & Command Permanent Magnet:
I would like a quote for 2 designs of neodymium magnets, having North / South orientation different for half of them. We can refer to the curved portion of each magnet having the title of 'UP'. Each magnet has 3 countersunk holes. Attached are 2 drawings, called: SLAVE MAGNET and COMMAND MAGNET.
Slave with North Up / Slave South UP
Command with North Up / Command South Up.
Is it possible to use Grade 52 permanent magnet for this size of magnet? If not, please quote the highest possible grade, and can you calculate the strength of each design when pulling or repelling between the command and slave magnet? I'm interested in the prices. Please advise my questions.

Your drawings are not detailed enough, we need to know the big diameter of the counter-bore and distance between them. Please check the attachment and complete the permanent magnet drawing. Then I'll contact with our tech. dept whether it's workable or not. I’m waiting for reply, thanks.

It is a new product. I will ask for more detail. (The big diameter of the counter-bore & distance between them).. It is a design project, so we may or may not order a large amount of such neodymium permanent magnets. It all depends on the outcome of the study. I am flexible on the size, so if it is not workable, possibly we can adjust. I will get back with you on your request.
