Inquire China Permanent Magnets:
We are looking for a very special shape of neodymium magnet with a smooth (Ra < 0.4), conducting surface (e.g. Ni coating), that can be operated at temperatures up to 90° C. I have attached a drawing below with the shape we would need. We would like to have the magnetization perpendicular to the cylindrical axis. Could your company produce such a magnet from Neodymium Iron Boron material?

2. How many magnets do you need?

Thanks for your answer. Here are the answers to your questions:
1) We would need N30M grade
2) For a first test I would need around 50 pieces, if the design works as expected we would order around 6000 – 7000pcs a year.
3) We would like a NiCuNi coating.

Permanent Magnet Order:
It’s great to hear that you can produce the neodymium magnets. However I would need the axis of magnetization perpendicular to the cylinder axis, not along). Is this also possible? The reason is that I need to stack two magnets onto each other with their flat faces. If you can produce them with perpendicular magnetization I will order immediately.

I look for 50,000pcs 0.25 x 0.25 Round Neodymium/Nickel Plate, Magnetized through Center Grade 40. Complete DMAG curve for these parts showing BHmax, gauss, Hci and other values to be tagged per part. Please put this documentation in a separate bag inside the cartons and identify that carton.
