I have a new quotation for permanent magnet cubic blocks with the following characteristics:
Material Samarium Cobalt type SmCo30H (identical to the one we ordered last time)
Dimensions of the blocks: 80 x 80 x 80 mm tolerance +/- 0.1 mm on all dimensions
Br minimum: 1.08 T; Hcb minimum: 810 KA/m; Maximum authorized error on the magnetization direction: ideally 2° (but we can accept 5°).
Please could you indicate which limit you can guarantee?

I would like to order magnetic blocks as described to test the material and our assembly procedure. If this is fine, then we will order more blocks. Can you guaranty the tolerances of +/- 0.1 mm on all the dimensions as notified in the drawing in attachment?

We can guarantee the tolerances of +/-0.1mm on your drawing. The angle we can reach is 5°.
Client:
The total amount shall be paid by with the order after receipt of the corresponding pro-forma invoice and a bank guarantee for the same amount for the performance of the contractor's obligations under the contract. The bank guarantee, in favour of, shall be issued by a bank approved by (Rating of BBB+ at least or equivalent, with proof of rating) and be valid until acceptance of the supply. The bank guarantee shall be established using the attached template. I will prepare an order mentioning those conditions and you will have to wait for your bank guarantee to make the payment.

We only have little benefit. In case the production is started, we have to prepare the whole production at our cost. If you do not want these SmCo magnets or have any changes during production, we will surfer the loss at our side as well. That is because we customize the magnets according to requirements of customers, and different customers have different requirements. So if you do not want these magnets, we can not sell them to other customers. (By now, you are the only customer who wants the magnets with size80x80x80mm, SmCo30H).
Sorry, we can not open bank guarantee:
1. We have to put same amount to guarantee bank and can not use them before we finish our cooperation, at the same time, we have to prepare cost for production and it costs us double to finish your order;
2. The guarantee bank can send our money to you without our permission whenever you put forward a complaint. It is a big risk for us.
