I am interested in purchasing Gauss Meter to test the magnetic strength of some products we are purchasing. These products will have neodymium magnets embedded in them that will range in strength of 1,000 - 4,000 Gauss. Will this product be able to test adequately? Can you provide me with a cost？

1. And is the product in your drawing completely made of magnets?
Is it possible for you to tell us the material of each of the magnetic part on your drawing?
2. In your attached drawing, you did not specify the material and grade of magnets you want for the magnetic assembly. Could you please confirm?
Answers:
1) Mechanical dimensions as per drawing given. (OD-31.7, ID-27.7, Height 6.2mm, thickness between OD-ID- 2mm)
2) No of Poles- 16 (8N & 8S) in Inner diameter side as given.
3) Gauss value- ~1500 on each pole.
4) Required Working temperature- -10 deg to+85 deg.
5) Application- Bicycle Dynamo
6) Material – Suggest to meet above requirements.

In the drawing, the material specified is injection bonded ferrite permanent magnet. But ferrite material can never reach 1500 Gauss as you requested. So we chose neodymium iron boron material, which can meet your request.
