As we all know, neodymium magnets are super powerful in magnetic force, but un-coated ones are not so good in resisting of oxidation and corrosion of the external environment. Without the protection of coating/plating, NdFeB permanent magnets go rusting easily in a short period of time.
Therefore, most of the neodymium rare earth magnets need to be coated unless some magnets apply to vacuum environments can be uncoated. We also have a few customers require no coating on their neodymium iron boron magnets because they don't want the magnetism to be affected or reduced by the plating even the thickness of plating is just 5~15 μm.
China Rare Earth Magnet Limited is experienced in manufacturing all kinds of neodymium permanent magnet in different shapes, sizes, grades, magnetism orientation and plating. Currently, the available plating of sintered neodymium NdFeB magnets are Ni-Cu-Ni, Zn, black epoxy, grey epoxy, Ni+Ag, Ni+Au, Ni-Cu-Ni+epoxy, Zn+black epoxy, Cr, Everlube, Ni-Cu+Everlube, High wear resistance epoxy, Parylene, and some colorful paint for neocube products.
